I received the following email and thought it may be of interest to house churches with a large number of children.
Your name was forwarded to me to contact you regarding our NEW interactive children’s curriculum. It is specially designed for Children’s Church and Home Bible study groups. It can be used as a “plug and play” program for children’s church when you lack volunteer workers. It is also an excellent learning tool in Home Bible Study Groups. Home Bible study groups around the Country are struggling to teach children while the adults are meeting together. Many Bible Study Groups simply exclude families with children.
This curriculum is available on DVD and contains 12 complete programs in each series. No Preparation Time Required. We are currently into our second series. There will be 12 series in all. The children’s programs are very versatile. I won’t go into detail here. We also have children’s contemporary worship music available. I simply invite you to visit our website at www.upwordkids.com and see for yourself. – Feel free to contact us directly at anytime.
Sincerely In Christ,
Steve Jordan

What does God’s positive voice say to you?
- You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14)
- You are a child of God (John 1:12)
- You are a part of the true vine, a channel of Christ’s love (John 15:1,5)
- You are Christ’s friend (John 15:15)
- You are reconciled to God and a minister of His reconciliation (2 Cor 5:18-19)
- You are a saint (1 Cor. 1:2; Eph 1:1; Phil 1:1)
- You are chosen of God, holy and dearly loved (Col 3:12; 1 Thes 1:4)
Considering what God says about you, how ought you to live?

In the last couple of weeks, an individual has begun commenting on some of the earlier posts. That’s always encouraged and was the whole purpose of going to this type of format for the website. Since I get email with each comment, I have engaged in some dialog with this individual through email and responses in the comments.
This individual is promoting a Christian-universalist doctrine. My personal beliefs are very orthodox and I have attempted to reason with this individual. I would like to know if there is any interest in this doctrine at all within the house church community.
But more concerning to me is the verbal attacks by this person on me, the house church community, and other individuals in the community. These are made in many comments. If you read these, you will see what I mean. I have refused to attack this person but tried to understand why the attacks on us.
Feel free to comment to this post and others with your ideas and opinions.
