This Sunday is Father’s Day. Fathers are in a unique position. They are called to provide for their families, to be the leader of their families, to be examples for their families. As a father, if you follow the world’s example, its easy to fall into the trap of passionately trying to provide the best of material things for your family. But this usually comes at great cost, especially spiritual cost.
This Father’s Day, I encourage fathers to look inward and see if you are being the kind of father that glorifies God, or one that glorifies the material things that this world offers. See this video by Casting Crowns on The American Dream.

In late May, we vacationed in Tennessee. Because I forgot to take the wireless card for my laptop, I was unable to edit a newsletter for May. But I hope you find the June edition worth waiting for.
