Richard Kraemer and team returns from Ukraine

Posted by ljoh3106 on November 24, 2007

The following email was received this morning from Richard Kraemer:

I & the team want to thank you all for your generous gifts,
prayers and support for our Ukraine trip. We raised about $1400.00 dollars
cash donations and garage sales stuff.. We had a great time. God is
really on the move over there. In Kiev, the capital, there are signs up
all over about giving your life to God. We prayed for allot of people.
Some got healing and one received Jesus. We went to an orphanage and a
home for mentally challenged kids. The only thing we could do was quietly
pray for them while we played with them.
Again Thank You. God bless.

Ed Waken to Ukraine

Posted by ljoh3106 on November 21, 2007

On Wednesday November 21, Ed Waken will be traveling to Kiev, Ukraine to teach Organic Church Planting to about 70 indigenous church leaders and some Southern Baptist missionaries on behalf of CMA.  He will be returning on November 28.

Please pray that the Lord causes several church planting movements in the Ukraine as a result of His call to Ed.  Pray also for Ed’s health and safety, as he is traveling alone to a unfamiliar place and culture and is trusting the Lord to be his guide.

New Podcasts

Posted by ljoh3106 on November 17, 2007

In case you don’t know, a couple of men who were speakers at recent National House Church Conferences have launched audio podcasts.

John Eldredge (Author of Wild at Heart), through his ministry Ransomed Heart has just launched an audio podcast. Each week they are sharing one of their audio resources. Many of these resources have only been available for purchase in the past but now you can experience them for free just by subscribing. Visit www.ransomedheart.com/podcast to learn how to subscribe.

Paul Vieira (Author of Jesus Has Left The Building) has also just launched a podcast. Each week Paul is reading a chapter from his book Jesus Has Left The Building. To subscribe in iTunes visit this link.
Once you’ve installed iTunes and subscribed to the podcasts, each time you launch iTunes, the latest episode will automatically be downloaded. You can then store and play these audio files using your iPod device, other portable MP3 player, or computer. Best of all, these podcasts are FREE!

Enjoy and pass this on to anyone you think may be interested.

Phoenix Prayer – Muslims

Subject: Phoenix Prayer – Muslims
Date: Thu, 15 Nov 2007 10:24:34 -0700
From: Jeff Evilsizor

Samir arrives in 1 hour.

Reflect for a minute:  How great is God’s love for us in Phoenix.  He sends His Son.  As we fall away and become impotent, he sends his help from afar.  How did this happen?  His mercy overflows.

The verse this morning is: Lk 18:7
“Now shall not God bring about justice for His elect, who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?

May God reveal Himself these next weeks to those in this city who are next to enter His Kingdom.  Listen for the rejoicing in the heavens and on earth.
Wait and see what God will do.
Keep your hands held high with us as God battles and blesses us.

Phoenix Prayer – Fast

Posted by ljoh3106 on November 6, 2007

Thinking of new Jesus communities among Muslims in Phoenix.

The  week before Samir comes, I am inviting others  to fast.  Starts this Tuesday.

Tuesday Nov 6th thru Tuesday the 13th.  Samir arrives Thursday the 15th.  Whoever is willing, let us fast a portion or the whole, humbling ourselves before God, pleading for His life to be experienced by our friends?

Others in Phoenix are being asked to invite 2 others, with whom they have sufficient repoire, to fast and pray.  They are being asked to invite 2 others who will invite 2 others.  Let’s see if God will move the city to ask Him for His beautiful actions among our Cousins.

Won’t it be cool learning to disciple multiple new communities towards reproduction? Is God not delighted in these requests.  We are getting on your running shoes.

On behalf of our friends,

Jeff
