I wanted to make the wider house church community aware of a movement of God occuring downtown. There are several intentional communities, believers who are living together or in proximity to pursue Jesus and loving their neighbor. They are small and are being told by God to hold the ground while he sends in others. These communities are coming together to seek God in fasting and prayer this coming weekend and are hosting 48 hours of 24/7 prayer and worship. Their heart is united with Jesus and with us - expanding loving missional communities focused on Jesus.
I thought you may enjoy meeting them and supporting them while getting some time away with God in some sacred space.

How can we prepare for the coming of King Jesus in this busy holiday season? One way several communities here in downtown Phx. are trying to do this is by setting apart the weekend of December 12th-14th to fast, pray, & worship together. Will you come join us for an hour or two? You can come by yourself or with a friend(s). You can also come to one of the corporate times of prayer and worship. If you feel led you can fast with us for the whole or part of the weekend. We will break our fast together on Sunday afternoon.
